This weekend, Fredric Aasbø and the Speedhunters Toyota team brought the 86-X to Gatebil on Ice. Organized much in the same spirit as the summer festivals, the Gatebil on Ice allows drivers and teams to test their equipment on a frozen lake deep inside the Norwegian woods.

This weekend, Fredric Aasbø took part at the Formula Drift Asia Finals in Jakarta, Indonesia. Driving the legendary Team RS-R Toyota Supra, Fredric quickly got up to speed, and after taking on an all-star roster that included Daigo Saito and Robbie Nishida, Fredric and Team RS-R finished third at the FD Asia grande finale.

2011 was a crazy year. Ups and downs, trials and tribulations – 2011 had it all!
It was my first year as a Need for Speed athlete, and my first year as a Scion Racing driver and my first year of working with Papadakis Racing. All in all, a lot of things were new, but luckily the things of importance stayed the same. I am very grateful to still be able to work with the people that have helped me out over the years with Japan Auto.

On September 4th, Fredric Aasbo and Team Need for Speed Japan Auto were able to clinch the victory at United Kingdom’s biggest drifting event: The TRAX/British Drift Championship Super Pro Finals at the Silverstone F1 Circuit.
